Padel Courts in Torrance

Padel is hard to find in the South Bay. You get two lighted courts, people to play with and a whole club around you.

Why South End

Two lighted courts, a whole club around them

South End is one of the few clubs in the South Bay with padel. Both courts are enclosed, with turf underfoot and lights for evening games. The walls are part of play, so your rallies run longer and every point moves fast.

It's quick to pick up, so friends of every level can play together. When you're done, the pool, gym and dining are a few steps away.

  • 2 enclosed outdoor courts with turf, lighted for evening games
  • Book a day ahead in the club app: 90 minutes a court
  • Quick to pick up, with racquet rentals for first-timers
  • A heated pool, full fitness center, sauna and on-site dining at the same club

Ways to play

Weekend open play, and a court for your own four

Advanced Open Play runs every Saturday and Sunday, 8:30–11:30 AM. Members just drop in and rotate into games with strong players. There's nothing to reserve.

Any other time, book a court for your group up to a day ahead from 6 AM, in the club app, by phone or at the front desk. Each booking gives you an hour and a half on court. Padel is doubles, so it's one of the easiest ways to meet people at the club.

Questions

Before you visit

What is the reservation policy?

Members book up to a day ahead, from 6 AM, in the club app, by phone or at the front desk. The front desk also books walk-ins when a court is open. Each booking is 1.5 hours, with no court fee on a membership that includes padel.

Is there open play?

Yes. Advanced Open Play runs Saturday and Sunday, 8:30–11:30 AM, for members. It's drop-in with no reservation, and the games are at an advanced level.

I've never played padel. Is that a problem?

Not at all. Padel is quick to pick up, and the Sports Shop rents racquets to members trying a new racquet sport, so you don't need your own to start.
